Jerry Pritchett, MD, DC
Medical Director
Dr. Pritchett started working in health care in high school. He began as a physical and respiratory therapy aide at 17. After graduation, Dr. Pritchett went through a respiratory therapy program. He became licensed as a respiratory therapist in 1977 and worked in that field for the next 12 years.
While working, Dr. Pritchett's education continued by taking pre-med courses. Due to a motor vehicle accident, he suffered some cervical spine injuries and received chiropractic care. As a result, he decided to go to Chiropractic College at Parker University in Texas. Dr. Pritchett opened his office and completed a three-year diplomate in chiropractic orthopedics. A rare occurrence at the time, he was granted hospital privileges as a chiropractic physician, joined the hospital board of directors, and eventually became the board president.
He did his academic studies at the American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten, then transferred to the Detroit area and then to LSU in Shreveport, Louisiana, to complete his residency. After passing boards, he started working for the Department of Defense at Fort Polk doing family practice at Baynes-Jones Hospital. During the four years at Baynes-Jones, he continued his education in pain management and interventional procedures. In 2014, Dr. Pritchett became the Medical Director at the Brooks Clinic in Oklahoma City, where he began performing interventional procedures such as medial nerve branch blocks, transforaminal epidural injections, and radiofrequency ablation. He further trained in stem cell therapy and additional interventional pain techniques. As of 2021, Dr. Pritchett is the Medical Director for Kanza Health Clinic. He brings years of experience and knowledge to provide exceptional patient care.
