To become a patient with Kanza Health Clinic, you must have a valid state ID or driver’s license, social security card, insurance card if you have coverage, proof of residence, and Certificate Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) card or proof of tribal descent. Minors need a birth certificate and may use the parent's CDIB card until they are 18. You will need to provide documentation if there are custody restrictions, guardianship, or adoption.
Do you treat emergencies at your clinic?
We do not provide emergency care at Kanza Health Clinic. Patients needing emergency treatment must call 911 or go to the nearest hospital. You must notify Pawnee or WahZhaZhe within 72 hours of an emergency visit or hospital admission.
Do you provide care after hours?
Kanza Health Clinic is operated by appointment only. We do not currently offer after-hour care. Please go to the nearest Urgent Care clinic if you need nonemergent care after hours.
If I have a question for the nurse, when can I expect them to return my call?
Our physicians and nurses are with patients throughout the day, so it is usually impossible for them to answer phone calls immediately. We will return your call as soon as possible. To help us get back to you quickly, leave us your full name, date of birth, the reason for the call, and current phone number.
What if I can't make my appointment and need to reschedule?
Please call our office at (580) 362-1039 to speak to one of our receptionists. We prefer that all cancellations be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. This will allow us to give another patient the opportunity to be seen.
